Monday
Speaking of composure. Speaking of courtesy. Gawd! That fella knows non of these!
First incident: "Hey, this is your new phone?" Flips the phone open and take a look.
C'mon, that's MY phone, and that MY privacy. What if my wall paper was me in my bday suit? crap!
versus
"new phone?" picks it up and took a look. That's polite. that's wat i would expect from any sane educated homo sapien.
2nd incident: "the phone in the meeting room is not working. can u find someone to look at it? i've missed my call!" minutes later "I left my power adapter in the room about 30mins ago and its now missing! Can you ask the recep to send a mass mail to check who took my adapter by mistake?" " Why would this guy want to take my adapter!?" (after I found it and sent it to him)
1st. the phone wasnt working coz someone plugged out the network cable and used it for his PC. smart aleck. 2nd. some smart aleck left his adapter lying around, so out of goodwill, pple took it and kept it in the computer room.who's fault to be so irresponsible and not look after their own belonging?
versus "You booked me on the wrong flight and we now incurr an extra night of hotel. its ok, we'll talk to the hotel and see if we can get it reduced."
"my network has been down and the IT guy is still not found.could you help me with it? Really thank you for your help."
"my baggage got lost in the flight and my phone is low on juice. There's a couple of things that I'll need your help"
C'mon! Losing a baggage except his laptop and a phone (both wihout their adapters and chargers) on a biz trip to meeting client isnt something funny but he's so full of composure and grace.
Thats' wat I call a man for the bigger stuff. unlike the anal retentive cockroach.
