What can be more joyous than a call from a long lost friend? I'm over the moon for that few moments, running out from my office, giggling like a schoolgirl, grinning from ear to ear and trying to speak coherently.
Oh yes, and my boss (both old and new) had to burst out from the door and head for coffee and witness me sniggering at a corner. and smirkly say "its ok. want to join us for coffee?". but again, i'm too ecstatic to bother. haha.
There's so much that happened around us which distanced us. To the extent that I've resigned to the fact that i've probably lost this friend. She was back in singapore a couple of times, even got ROM-ed with a brudder pal of mine but she refuses to meet nor speak to me.I was hurt. Genuinely upset. But what can I do? Deep down, I am very grateful to her for she helped me through those dark moments in Beijing. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
I've buried those memories, but maybe she's here to give it a closure. Ooh...how i look forward to seeing her.Perhaps next tues or thurs since its PH.
I cant wait to see her.
