What an irony. I'm having a bad bad day yet i'm not distraught yet.
So here goes the list along the timeline.
Morning paper: Screwed!I don't think I will fail but neither will I do well and in hons class, its not the grade that matters but the indivdual mark. I guess i really have to get myself ready for a second lower. sigh.
Afternoon: Laptop cant connect and cant detect any network nor PCI card. Smelling trouble, i immediately packed and went down to comcent. They guy(who turned out to be my jc mate) figured that its most likely a hardward prob. OH fine! So i took the bus and headed for sci where the service centre was. And that Toshiba guy finally declared the "death" of my card slot. That doesnt sound bad initially because i thot i could simply replace it but sigh, that slot has to be soldered onto the main board so if i were to change the slot, it means changing the whole board. THEN WHAT"S THE USE?! sigh. sigh. sigh. NOw my CD rom is redudant since its a PCI card. and my network cardS are useless too. This also implies that I am totally deprived of the LAN connection in school FOREVER! Thank god i'm finishing school. I think i'll have to buy an external USB modem for my laptop now.*picture money with wings flyin away*
Anyway, I've been desperately tryin to d/l a french film "Irreversible" from kazaa lite and its like 80% done but now without LAN(i cant possibly d/l from my 56K at home), does anyone has any suggestions on how i can finish copying the film or better still, IS THERE ANYONE WHO HAS THE FILM?????
I don't know when i will get connected again so here's gdbye to all while i get banished into stone age.
