I feel a little less suaku after getting my wireless LAN card today. Heh! now i'm a footloose, mobile being who can be connected everywhere i go ( within NUS that is). I can roam the library freely with my sayang, watching TV and studying at the same time. Yeah! Technology makes life so much easier.
But again, technology frustrates people too. I spent the entire afternoon trying to get my card working. Jean had no problem but mine is bugged with thousand and one probs. Even the com cen helpers had to scratch their head. Somehow, brilliant me finally configured it properly after an ardous hour, shuttling between sherina's laptop and my sayang.My rationale:as long as i checked the exact same boxes, mine should work too. Well, bingo, i did it!
Today's been good. I managed to browse through 3-4 theses though they are not that relevant. At least it gave me a better idea on the historical development of ASEAN. That's considered a start i suppose. Got to read more on harmonization tonight before i knock out. That book is downright boring and i've not read beyond half a chapter before my nose hits the table.Sigh, how am i going to trudge through the remaning chapters? Ahh! One more week to my deadline. I'm sure its my DEAD line.
Anyhow, the good news for today is ..... i've gone past the first round of selection for Camp USA. I don't think it was suppose to be hard coz they really need international counsellors, but considering my brainless verbal diarrhoea at the interview, i amazed they still think I am up to it.Phew!
