Monday
Prof sidle had his farewell party tonight. Sigh, its so wonderful to have him around. He's so knowledgable, so well travelled, so willing to share his ideas and ever so friendly. I really loved him. like i told him, he was more than a fantastic lecturer, he was my inspiration. THose who took geog in NUS should know that the dept have a severe lack of physical lecturers. Just when i've decided to give up on pursuing phys geog, prof sidle joined the dept. and that was when everything turned ard and my dream in life was back in focus. Though i lost the chance to study hons in geog, i'm pretty glad abt it. Considering that the dept is offering more human mods than phys...i'd betta off not studying it. But many times, i wonder if taking up econs hons was the right choice. Perhaps i shld have gone overseas to do a graduate dip and then follow up with a masters in geog. *shrug* i dunno, but i suppose i shld make the best out of this path that i have chosen.
Everytime i feel like giving up, i'll think of sidle and it'll urge me on. He is what i dream to be. I'm beginnig to miss him already.
